Porto Igreja da Santissima Trindade Church, Sunday June 14
A joint friendship concert with the talented Vozes Brancas Choir at Porto Igreja da Santissima Trindade Church. The concert was at 9:30 at night. Church was packed and we got a standing ovation for Uma Cassa Portuguesa!
Sighteeing and Traveling, Monday June 15
Traveling from Porto to Aveiro and Coimbra. Palace Stock Exchange in Porto, a visit to a historic wine cellar and a tasting of local wine, a visit to Aveiro, the “Portuguese Venice”, a boat ride and a pastry class!
Sightseeing and Concert in Coimbra, Tuesday June 14
Guided tour of the University of Coimbra, a UNESCO site and one of the oldest universities in the world. The second performance of our trip - at the Coimbra University Institute for Justice and Peace. A joint concert with Coro Sinfonicao Ines de Castro and Coro Dom Pedro de Cristo.
Fatima and Obidos, Wednesday June 17
Fátima is a central Portuguese town that's home to the Sanctuary of Fátima, a Catholic pilgrimage site. Amazing experience to sing for Mass as part of the daily celebration in Fatima.
Óbidos is a stunning, medieval walled town in central Portugal. Famous for its historic castle, cobblestone streets, and whitewashed houses trimmed with blue and yellow.
Lisbon Tour and Concert, Thursday June 18
Guided tour of Alfama and Belém. These are Lisbon’s two most iconic districts. Alfama is the medieval, hilly historic core known for Fado music while Belém is a flat, riverfront district famous for Portugal's Age of Discovery monuments and custard tarts.
Performance at Lisbon’s largest summer cultural festival, the Grande Arraial de Benfica, Our host choir was a traditional men’s choir from Lisbon, Cante Aletegano. After our performance, they provided dinner, a beautiful cake and treated us to a few more of their traditional songs where they lock arms and sway back and forth as they sing.
Sintra & Cabo Da Roca and Farewell Dinner, Friday, June 19
Sintra is a UNESCO site known for its palaces, gardens and lush terrain. Cabo da Roca is Europe’s westernmost point. We enjoyed listening to traditional Fado singers during our farewell dinner at a local Fado House for our final evening in Portugal.
What an amazing trip for our choir!! Many thanks to Patty and Lenore for all the hours spent planning and organizing this trip. And thank you to our wonderful, kind and knowledgeable tour guides!!

The Minneapolis Holidazzle Festival returned to the heart of downtown in 2024 on Nicollet Mall. The Festival featured interactive light displays, holiday shopping from local vendors at pop-up markets, visits with Santa Clause and performances by various singing groups, including Women of Song at the IDS Crystal Court!
Flagstone Senior Living Center Holiday Sing out Dec 14, 2024
One of our favorite places to sing! Aways a full house and always so appreciative. The Christmas Carol sing along portion of the performance was so fun. The audience was filled with wonderful singers - soprano, alto, tenor and bass. All together, we filled the room with sound!
2024 Holiday Concert - A Ceremony Of Carols
Benjamin Britten's multi-movement work for treble voices and harp, based on Medieval English texts was the centerpiece of this program, which also featured a variety of additional carols, both new and traditional. Special thanks to our substitute harpists - Sarah Grudem (Saturday) and Amy Nam (Sunday)
